Crankbrothers Eggbeater MTB Pedals

Eggbeater pedals are clipless mountain bike pedals manufactured by Crank Brothers. The name “egg beater” is used since the pedals look like mixing blades. The biggest advantages to these pedals is their light weight and versatility.

Features: 

• Constructed of stainless steel or titanium, they feature "wings" that hook onto the cleats of a cycling shoe.
• Eliminate some of the slippage that may occur with standard pedals.
• Rider is less likely to have his or her feet slip off the pedals by accident.

  The Crankbrothers Eggbeater 2 is one of the lightest mountain bike pedals in the world. The Eggbeater 2 is the lightest pedal in our test. Our scale weighed the pair at 100 grams less than the next lightest pedal in our test.

    The Crankbrother EggBeater 11 is the successor of the Ti4 pedal. The EggBeater 11 weighs only 179 g per pair. Axle, body and wings are completely made of titanium. The stainless steel spring guarantees maximum durability.
